When my wife and I began dating 12 years ago I was pretty excited to hear that she spoke German. And given that over half of our entire time together has been spent traveling it seems no surprise that we have always intended to make it to Germany, but it actually didn’t happen until 2023 when we finally made it to Europe.
This road trip is by no means the ultimate road trip and it’s not intended to be conclusive in any way. It is, however, exactly the road trip we took and we enjoyed it immensely so it felt rude not to share it with the world.
